Your Highlander Awaits Here:

My name is DC, and I am the heart behind Enchanted Highlanders.
I’ve been involved with the Highlander breed since my teenage years, beginning as a devoted pet owner long before stepping into breeding. My oldest Highlander is now 10 years old, and over the years, my love for this breed has only grown stronger.
Enchanted Highlanders was never built with profit in mind. This has always been a labor of love. I chose to step into breeding with purpose to promote, preserve, and improve the Highlander breed while helping it continue to grow and thrive for generations to come. Doing things the right way takes time, dedication, and commitment, and that has always been my priority.
I am located near Nashville, Tennessee, and am a proud member of TICA, CFF, and ACFA. My cattery is home raised, meaning my cats are part of our everyday lives alongside my family, our children, and our dog. They are not raised in kennels but in a real home environment where they are handled, socialized, and loved from day one.
Education is a strong focus of my program. I work to provide accurate information not only to my families but also to help bring awareness and understanding of the Highlander breed. There is a lot of misinformation surrounding them, especially regarding their ears, and I believe it is important to advocate for the breed with honesty and clarity.
My background in the veterinary field has also played a large role in how I run my cattery. Health, genetics, and proper care are at the foundation of everything I do. All of my adult cats are genetically tested, and many lines extend beyond that into previous generations. I also participate in ongoing research, including genome studies, to continue contributing to the future of the breed.
As my program has grown, I have become more intentional and selective in every aspect, from my breeding decisions to the families I work with. My goal is not just to place kittens, but to ensure they are going into homes that are educated, prepared, and committed for life.
Supporting my families does not end at pickup. I am always here as a resource, and lifelong support is something I take seriously.
I am always learning, always growing, and always striving to do better. This journey has taught me more than I ever expected, and I remain committed to doing right by my cats, my families, and this breed.
