Enchanted Highlanders' Hearts & Heroes program supports veterans and families with special-needs children through meaningful feline companionship.

Enchanted Hearts & Heroes is our way of giving back to veterans, military families, and families with special-needs children by occasionally making our loving Highlander companions more accessible to those who need them most. ❤️
Our program is intended for veterans, military families, and families raising children with special needs. Opportunities are limited and offered when available.
Complete our Hearts & Heroes application. All applicants go through our normal screening process, and appropriate proof of eligibility will be required before approval.
After you submit your application, our team will review your information and contact you if we need additional details or documentation. If your application moves forward, we will discuss available placement opportunities, the reduced placement fee, and the next steps for finding a suitable match. All normal veterinary care, health guarantees, and placement requirements remain in place.

Kittens are carefully selected by the breeder based on their personality, temperament, and the individual needs of each family. Families do not choose their own kitten through this program. Our goal is to find the best possible match so both the Highlander and the family can thrive together.
Yes. Families must be prepared to provide a loving, permanent indoor home, including proper nutrition, routine veterinary care, and lifelong commitment. Our normal placement contract and health requirements still apply, regardless of the reduced placement fee.
