Producing TICA & ACFA Champions
Producing TICA & ACFA Champions
The reservation process for Highlander kittens typically begins once a litter is announced and reservations open between 3 - 8 weeks of age, which is shared on our Facebook page. All inquiries require a completed application before a response is provided.
Applications allow us to review each request carefully and ensure the best possible placement for every kitten. Submitting an application in advance helps streamline communication once reservations open.
To reserve a Highlander kitten, a completed application and signed contract are required. The application allows us to gather basic information about you, your location, and what you are looking for in a kitten. We are unable to move forward with any reservation or deposit until the application has been submitted, reviewed, and the contract has been agreed to and signed.
Applications are encouraged to be submitted in advance or prior to a kitten becoming available for deposit, as this helps ensure timely communication once reservations open.
Once an application has been approved, the contract signed, and a kitten selection confirmed, deposits and remaining balance payments are accepted via Zelle or cash only. PayPal and Venmo are not accepted.
All payments and fees are non-refundable once made. The remaining balance is due by 12 weeks of age.
The deposit for pet-only kittens is $500.
A signed contract and deposit are required to reserve a Highlander kitten from our cattery. Contracts are sent via DocuSign to provide a secure, paperless process that is convenient and accessible at any time.
Please note that a kitten cannot be reserved without a completed application, signed contract, and deposit.
Highlander Kitten Placement & Breeding Rights
The majority of our Highlander kittens are placed as loving companion pets. Breeding rights are limited and only considered for approved catteries, responsible Highlander breeders, and select show or preservation homes.
Breeding rights are not offered indiscriminately and require an application, review, and prior approval from Enchanted Highlanders. Our goal is to support responsible Highlander cat breeding practices and the continued health and preservation of the breed.

Our Commitment to Highlander Cat Health
Enchanted Highlanders prioritizes responsible Highlander cat breeding, health monitoring, genetic testing when available, proper socialization, and transparency with our families.
We utilize available health testing, including Wisdom Panel and other genetic screening tools when applicable, along with FeLV/FIV testing and routine health monitoring of kittens and breeding cats.
While no breeder can eliminate all risks associated with living animals, we are committed to placing healthy, well-socialized Highlander kittens and providing lifelong support to the families who welcome one of our cats into their homes.
We operate as a closed cattery to prioritize the health and safety of our cats, kittens, and family. For this reason, in-person visits are not permitted.
To maintain transparency and keep families involved, we provide regular updates through photos, videos, social media, and video chat. This allows prospective families to see their kitten’s growth and personality while minimizing health risks.
With the ongoing risk of disease transmission, allowing visitors can pose a serious threat to young kittens and our breeding adults. Protecting the well-being of our animals and home is our top priority, and this is not a risk we are willing to take.
Our Highlander kittens do not leave our cattery until they are approximately 16–18 weeks of age, weigh over 3 pounds, and are deemed ready to transition to their new homes. This timeline ensures each kitten is fully developed, well-socialized, and in optimal health before placement.
Go-home timing may vary slightly depending on individual growth, development, veterinary clearance, and spay or neuter scheduling. Our priority is always the health and well-being of the kitten
We offer local pickup by appointment and can also meet families at Nashville International Airport (BNA) for in-person transfers.Occasionally, we offer transport assistance by ground or air for an additional fee, depending on availability, distance, and scheduling.
All transport arrangements are coordinated on a case-by-case basis to ensure the safety and wellbeing of each kitten.
We do not ship kittens or use pet nannies or third-party transport services. All kittens must be picked up in person to ensure a safe and smooth transition.
Any kitten traveling across state lines is required to have a veterinary-issued health certificate. This certificate is obtained through our veterinarian and confirms that the kitten is in good health at the time of departure.
